For U.S. government space applications, SafeNet GSD products support the Cardholder, Pegasus, KI-23, KG-28/46, KG 29/57, and KG-44 algorithms.
Cardholder
Cardholder and Caribou will replace KI-23 and KG-29/57 for uplink command encryption.
Caribou is the only NSTISSP-1-compliant uplink security system. Cardholder is the latest uplink security system for U.S. government applications. SafeNet GSD products for Cardholder and Caribou include:
|
Pegasus
Pegasus is one of the latest algorithms for U.S. government space applications. SafeNet GSD's Pegasus products include the KGV-227 VLSI Chip, KG-227 and KG-228 Flight Units, and MYK-17B Ground Unit.
|
KI-23
SafeNet GSD KI-23 space communication products include the MYK-1 VLSI ASIC and the KIT-223A ground unit.
The MYK-1 VLSI Chip is a rad-hard VLSI chip for embedment applications. The SafeNet GSD KIT-223A is an encryption/decryption ground unit for the KI-23 system.
|
KG-28/46
SafeNet GSD KG-28/46 products include the MYK-11 ASIC, and the MYK-5 and MYK-7A ground units.
|
KG 29/57
SafeNet GSD KG-29/57 products include the MYK-11 VLSI chip, and the MYK-12 and MYK-12A ground units.
|
KG-44
SafeNet GSD KG-44 products include the KG-44LSI, KG-44B and KG-144.
The KG-44LSI is a KG-44 encryptor/decryptor LSI approved by NSA for Type 1 applications.
The KG-44B is a decryption ground unit with a built-in encryptor (for ground system checkout only).
